Yuzu Peel Oil

柚子 · Yuzu

The problem: skin that looks tired and flat, and an evening that never quite switches off. Japan has run yuzu baths since the Edo period: whole fruit floating in the water on the winter solstice, the ritual called yuzu-yu. Real yuzu peel oil, not a fragrance accord pretending to be one.

Green Tea

緑茶 · Ryokucha

The problem: dryness and that rough, sandpaper texture that body lotion never quite fixes. Green tea leaf is naturally rich in antioxidant polyphenols, and our extract is concentrated to 60% of them. Paired with pure Epsom salts and a little bicarb to soften the water itself.

Epsom Salt

The base

Magnesium sulfate, and most of what's in the pouch. The mineral salt behind every classic Epsom soak, and it dissolves clear in warm water.

Bicarb Soda

Softens the water

Sodium bicarbonate tips the water slightly alkaline, which is where that soft, smooth feel comes from. A mild take on the onsen springs Japan calls bijin-no-yu.

Tapioca Starch

The silky feel

A fine starch from cassava root that gives the water a silkier feel. It also takes up stray moisture, which helps the salts stay loose in the pouch.

At Miyomi, our aim is simple: to make genuine self-care a daily reality for women, not an occasional indulgence. The Ritual

How to Use

Draw Your Bath

Fill your bath with warm water at 38 to 40°C, warm enough to relax the body without overstressing the skin.

Add the Salts

Pour in a generous half cup, about two scoops, under the running water, and let it dissolve completely.

03

Surrender

Soak for twenty minutes. Lock the door, leave the phone in the other room. This part is yours.

Mostly yuzu, which smells a bit like mandarin and grapefruit with a floral edge. The green tea is softer and stays in the background. In Japan, people float whole yuzu in the bath on the winter solstice, and that's the smell we were after.
